How to make a wooden ferris wheel








1. Wheel part
1) Cut the woods to the size shown below. (Thickness : 12mm  , Main rim is 15mm)




2) Prepare motor hub and shaft.

3) Fix motor hub to wood, using glue gun.


4) Drill the center. (D3)

5) Fixed motor hub to shaft, using screw.

6) Drill the side of wood (D8) and insert wood stick.


7) Drill the side of  main rim and insert shaft part





8) Make a another wheel and fix them, using wood stick



2. Support part

 1) Cut the woods to the size shown below. (Thickness : 12mm)
2) Make a hole to wood (390 x 60 wood , D37, Distance from edge to center is 55mm)

3) Fix the woods as process shown below. (using Woodworking bond)






4) Fix motor braket and motor.


- Motor :  6V, Torque : 1200gf.cm , Rpm : 16

5) Assembly wheel part to support part.



6) Connect motor and adapter.


3. Cabin part

1) Cut the woods to the size shown below. (Thickness : 9mm)

2) Make the holes (D2,  16EA / D11 / D5)










4) Fix magnet to acryl using glue gun and make hole (D3)



5) Assembly woods and acryl door using wood sticks and glue gun.


6) Assembly wheel and cabin.


4. Finish!!
